Wellness
We provide volunteer assistance to agencies focusing on the wellness and health needs of our community. Our Wellness projects enable members to touch many in our community. The services and support we provided at large and smaller community events, with the prevention and wellness aspect of the league’s mission, is a great way to impact adults and children in our local community and it is very rewarding for our members.
Objective

Assist with the planning and implantation of programs and events that provide for the health and wellness needs of our community.

Provide health and wellness education to the community from infancy to older adulthood.
Wellness Projects
- Henry the Hand, Hand Washing Education Program
- Teen Maze (promotes awareness of alcohol and drug abuse by teenagers )
- Alzheimer’s Walk at Bulloch Academy.
- Silver Linings Alzheimer’s Support Group
- AMBUCS chapter. (creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities)
- AMBUCS Christmas Bike Give-Away Event
- The Chocolate Run 5k, Open Heart Community Mission Homeless Shelter
- Sponsored the 11th Annual Pack the House in Pink event
- Cancer Foundation’s Annual Pink Power Run 5k at the GSU RAC.
- Bethany’s Annual Father/Daughter Dance.
- Relay for Life in Bulloch County
