The Gateway Girls Committee members worked hard to plan and provide meaningful activities for the girls each month. A positive theme (such as manners, respect, thankfulness) guided each meeting and activity. The girls enjoy the “fun” of each meeting, but also learned from the positive influence of our committee members as we interacted with them. Every adult and child enjoyed themselves each month. The Gateway Girls Project is an extension of Camp Gateway. It is an avenue to mentor and support 4th grade girls. This project provides the girls opportunities to experience activities within the community that may not otherwise be possible for them.​
